I’m obviously just virtue signaling to the congregation here, but after how obsolete the switch became immediately (mostly that the controllers stop working) and nintendo never really fixed it - there’s no way I’d buy a console from them again lol. It’s literally put me off from gaming (to my betterment) with how frustrating it is to use.

Fool me once, won’t get fooled again

Consooooomers love it tho. From day one it was shown to be the same shitty tech for double the price and people STILL acted surprised when the controllers fucked up

The new one doesn't even have controllers that fixed the issue. It wouldn't cost them much more, they just want you buying more shit.

Yeah that’s what I figured considering #1/2 sets of replacement controllers I bought inevitably broke, with #2/2 starting to drift significantly. So yeah, not really a desire to throw money at them lol just gonna emulate the old games - there’s thousands to choose from anyways (across all consoles) and they don’t get a dime- which is swell

Not to sound like a Nintendo apologist, but you can mail them your joycons to repair for free. Sometimes you'll even be given brand new controllers in return. You do have to pay for shipping tho

It's better than spending eighty bucks.
