This is why you would pick a sport with some form of game to make the exercise more fun.

Yeah I've considered looking at some kind of boxing or maybe some kind of fitness focused martial art instead. I think having something I can more easily either gamify or look at as a skill to progress on will make the idea easier.

I definitely recommend martial arts, I'm a long term practicionner and it only gets more interesting and motivating.

Climbing for me. I gotta get back into it (cut my thumb a few months back and got out of the habit)
