Kudzu already beat you to it.

"pray for peace, prepare for war." As they say.

You're probably right. I'm just "huffing copium" as the kids say I guess. Already bad enough struggling with anxiety and depression this whole ordeal just exacerbates it so I'm doing what I can to not be completely defeatist/doomer about it. Keyword is trying. So far I'm not doing so hot.

Or the fact that most of them probably failed highschool biology class.

Hence why I say that I'm not sold on the idea that they will be coming back... Cautious optimism maybe but I won't be holding my breathe.

I'm just glad that a lot of people i associate with can see the obvious double standard and call it out as bullshit.

A lot of people probably about to suddenly qualify for political asylum...

Guess it just depends on the audience. When I was deployed and the power went out for 4 hours we (about a dozen of us) had a several hour long debate on who the most talented porn star was. For some that's not a weird conversation, for others... Yea they probably think we're insane.

That's the part where I'm divided. On the one hand, I understand that they basically have to strip the website down to the basic foundation then rebuild it. On the other hand... I'm not entirely sold that when it returns it will have all of the things it once had. Only time will tell I guess.

I see people trying to use the "but he has autism, he probably didn't understand what he was doing!" Except those are the same people that will turn around and yell at a regular person with autism and say "shut up, it's not an excuse!"

It's also possible that they can apply for asylum in another country. Yea that's gonna cost money and probably time they don't have but it'd worth a try imo.

And it's fucking hilarious to me that a double standard has appeared.

"But he has autism so it's ok."... Meanwhile any other random person with autism who does something wrong (even tho they may not understand or even know what they're doing) is dragged through mud and hit with "it's not an excuse!"
