It’s right in the trailer, he’s the EP. So it’s the movie retcon-ed to be more faithful to the books, from what I can tell.

Nope. Fuck him too. He’s only tied to reality now because he’s trying to distance himself as the DoJ is preparing to drop the hammer on Trump. This is Trumps transition manager. He helped move him into the White House, he doesn’t get to slink away from that.

The same Chris Christie who shut down the state but spent a holiday weekend in a state park / beach that was closed to the public because of the state shut down?

Christ Christie? The dude who used Sandy and NJ resources to attack those who didn’t play by his rules, licked Trump’s lifted boots and constantly acts like he’s the only grown up in the room while looking like he ATE the grown up in the room?

As a former NJ resident, fuck him and the titanium reinforced horse he rode in on.

If Musk just shut his face and kept doing his thing, he would have been a historic figure. Not Edison or Tesla famous, but like an Alexander Bell tier name sure. Especially if his Mars plans panned out. But dude wanted to be Tony Stark and forgot that Stark was charming and likable (in the movies at least) and he… is not.

But how much of that 4 minutes is you having a disassociating / existential crisis?

I agree it should be a choice. But at the moment now, it’s not. And there’s content and entertainment I get out of it that I can’t replace with other options.

I pay for it as well. The AdBlocking options I use on my other devices aren’t as easy to implement in others (like SmartTVs or in YouTubes own app), and YouTube ads are worse than websites page ads in a lot of cases, so it’s worth it at the moment.

Since I’m already neck deep in their services for Gmail, drive, etc at the moment, there’s no benefit from distancing myself from YouTube. I’m working on transitioning to either self hosted (which is fine for a calendar or a shared drive, I don’t care if they’re down for maintenance/failure) or privacy focused alternatives, like ProtonMail, I’m currently testing it to see if I like it before I debate if it’s worth the coin.

That’s odd considering they MADE a daisy-chaining monitor…

Yessir. They’re trying to go for an Apollo feel I think, and there’s some things that are still missing, I can actually use Mlemmy. Mlem can’t even save my login once it’s unopened for an hour or so.

It’s been kinda crap for me, regularly forgetting my logins. Mlemmy for iOS has been a bit better.
