While I hate how old it makes me feel, I gotta agree the Wii U is definitely at retro status now.
It has to be 2 gens removed in my opinion. For example, ps4 is not but ps3 is.
Although now that most things have a pc port, gens are becoming a bit more blurred than before.
With that being said, I think ps2 and earlier were the best gens of gaming.
Online connectivity made gaming a bit worse overall with dlcs, patches and that sort of thing.
I thought the consensus was that a system needs to be at least 20 years old to be considered retro.
Hate to break it to you, but I just looked it up and ps2 will be 20 years old in like 2 years ๐
I meant PS3, but thank you for reminding me I'm old.
