A few months ago, my local Walmart locked down all the facial skincare stuff in the same way perfumes are secured - behind a locked display that requires a manager to open.

After the second time I stood around for 10 minutes waiting in vain for someone to unlock it so I could give them $3 for a package of blemish patches and then had to just give up and buy them online, I stopped even trying to buy them from Walmart.

I noticed earlier this week that a huge part of that aisle has been released from the locked doors, which makes me wonder if these dipshits realized that it's way harder on their bottom line to make it difficult for people to purchase from them than it is to just swallow a little theft here and there.

When I worked there, we only had one key behind the counter. Sometimes people took it with them and there was no way of knowing who has it or how to contact them because only the managers had radios, and you couldn't find them either lol. So the customer and I would just stand there like idiots for 10 minutes.
