I am in need of some help. I'm trying to find a good portable monitor for my steamdeck. I don't need it to be huge, 12inches minimum, but I'm not having much luck with my own research. I would like low latency, high refresh rate, and colors as close to the same as on the og LCD deck (which is what I have).

I have the official dock, so it would need to be able to connect through that as well.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I got a Lepow 15.6in monitor on Amazon a good while ago. I've been happy with using it with my Steam Deck. It's USB-C or HDMI. Also needs power from USB-C. I'm sure there's a better solution, but this works for me when I'm traveling.

needs power from USB-C

So you can't charge and use the display at the same time?

SD could REALLY use at least 1 more USBC port...

It's got 2 USB-C ports. And you only need external power if whatever hub you're using doesn't/can't supply it with video

You're using an external hub with your portable monitor?

Steam deck to USB-C hub (so I can plug in peripherals) to monitor.

Thanks for the information! I will give it a look. Sorry for the belated reply.
