In a detailed analysis by The War Zone, Yemen emerges as a new legend in the war of military innovation:

▪️ A primitive hybrid radar network (derived from old missiles and Soviet systems) (such as the P-18) that operates in mountainous terrain, taking advantage of ground reflections to fool the electronic camouflage systems of modern aircraft.

▪️ Modified surface-to-air missiles (such as the SA-6 and SA-8) that are manually reprogrammed and launched from mobile platforms on transport vehicles, making them difficult to destroy.

▪️ "Decoy" drones that confuse enemy radars and drain interceptor missiles at a low cost.

Surprising Field Achievements:

  • 20 US MQ-9 Reaper drones were shot down using modified surface-to-air missiles. This drone, estimated to cost $32 million, was destroyed.

  • Bold confrontations with US F-15s: A US fighter jet was nearly shot down after being ambushed by a missile during a reconnaissance mission, according to intelligence sources.

• Paradox: "Marginalized" Cold War-era weapons become an effective weapon against a $100 million aircraft!

According to experts:

The F-35 relies on stealth from modern radars, but older, low-frequency radars may detect it at close ranges... especially with ambush tactics!

• Questions that worry Tel Aviv and Washington:

  • If these soldiers (without military academies or advanced technologies) threaten fifth-generation aircraft... what would they do if they possessed advanced weapons?

  • If the most advanced American MQ-9 drone was shot down in Yemeni skies... what would happen to Israeli F-35s when faced with the same tactics?

  • How would Israel respond if an F-35 was shot down and its pilot captured? Would this lead to a radical shift in future wars?
