The only reason I keep my FB account active is so my mum can send me things she finds funny online, she's not the greatest with technology stuff so getting her on something else wouldn't work unfortunately, but for as long as she's still here and sending me things, I'll keep it open.

Most of us do the same. I haven’t heard anyone in my circle of friends that praises facebook for anything but keeping in touch with people.
