I would disagree with the sentiment, but agree with the plan though not with its realization!
It is in our best interest to have a healthy society, hard drugs and even serious addiction to less powerful drugs is an issue not only from our responsibility as humans, but financially (guess the second one only applies to non-americans)! Allowing hard drugs but opening such clinics that make their use safe and possibly provide the nec resources is so far statistically the most effective method against such addictions!
You would get to do whatever you want (in the parameters you drew up) and I would get to live in a better country! I think we would both win with my method
It would solve a lot of problems if we'd just legalize drugs and let people do what they want with their own bodies.
