I didn't even know they were working on JA3. JA2 was a ton of fun but its been a good long while since then...
I wonder how good the coop and open world aspect of it really is.
The coop is kind of brilliant. You share resources, but each control your own merc team. Only the player who activated a conversation can control it, but the other player sees it happening and can suggest dialogue choices.
You can also continue coop saves on your own, and so can your coop partner, even if they weren't the host. It's really well done.
That actually sounds pretty sick
