I want to play some free, maybe even open-source Minecraft clone that is available on both Windows and Android.

Luanti (formerly Minetest) is not an option for me because its controls aren't really optimized for phone gaming. Are there any other options?

I just want to play survival in this kind of game

thanks!! xD

(Edited) I founded Bloxd.io. Just a great browser-based Minecraft-like game with active servers, lots of players, and a big community

just pirate Minecraft at this point

I'm afraid that Luanti is one of the best alternative to minecraft. If there where more devs, we could create various ecosystem and gameplay. Also improve control on the mobile app.

Another game would be Veloren but there is no building and survival. It's a RPG so not really a minecraft clone. And i don't think they created a mobile app.

Yeah, I don't think there are any besides Luanti. The rest are pretty much all just closed source mc rip-offs/probably malware/microtransaction filled clones.

None exist with both a PC client and mobile app, unfortunately.

Can't think of any survival mode clones for both Windows and Android, but Classicube is worth checking out.

It's a rewrite of Minecraft Classic (circa 2009-2010) so basically old creative mode and it has a really cozy and welcoming community (shoutout to the folks on the Not Awesome 2 game server). It's on Windows and Android (and even on some stranger platforms like 3DS, Wii, Dreamcast, and much more).

It has modding support too and comes with flying capabilities, so you don't have to go full ancient Minecraft haha.

Minecraft itself is really easy to pirate; if you don't mind it not being open source you could just do that.
