Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Monday removed every member of a scientific committee that advises the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on how to use vaccines and pledged to replace them with his own picks.

The 17-member Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices had been in a state of flux since Kennedy took over. Its first meeting this year had been delayed when the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services abruptly postponed its February meeting.

Not at all religious, but the book of Revelation looks more and more prophetic every day...

[–] 4am@lemm.ee 11 points 3 days ago

Oddly enough, most of these fanatics either believe it to the letter or use it as a tool to manifest others into doing things in service of it coming true.

All you need for a prophecy to come true is enough people to believe it, apparently

If you think it resembles it at all, it's because the people perpetuating it are literally trying to fulfill it.

A lot of the bible is just stories about how awful it is to live under a shitty authoritarian government that runs an empire of abuse. The flaws of human nature, and stories of how to resist that.

Some old stories about how to use the land, what they think pregnancy is like and why humans are specials. And slots of inserts from a business man and a king after him that explain how outsiders should be kept out and how to best make money off of religion and abusing others.

My point is a lot of stuff is gonna be familiar cause it's just human nature and a collection of all of it edited and added to for centuries.

There's a term for this. A "self-fulfilling prophecy"

There is a TikTok beauty trend where stupid people are rubbing beef tallow on their faces. Is this why RFK’s face looks like it came out of a fryer?

Behold, the face of health in America:

RFK Jr.

Boy that's not good. I'm not surprised, but it's still not good.
