I remember that stuff. My grandma always bought the pink one. It weirded me out as a kid. I don't know why, just seemed less clean.

I like the red stuff because you can't see the blood.

To be fair, I’d be more concerned with black tarry blood in your stool than the fresh red blood from your hemorrhoids.

I was a kid/teen when this was popular. I remember it, but wouldn't have thought about it at the time -- what a pain in the ass (pun?) it would have been to buy toilet paper if you thought you had to color coordinate!

I am annoyed enough when the only rolls I can find are "mega rolls", which don't fit in the dispensers I have. Glad I don't have to worry about pink vs blue vs mint.

OK, that's enough about toilet paper

Memories of my grandma's carpeted bathroom.

Supposedly they quit making this because people were allergic to the dye.

Only one way they found that out, I suppose...

My mental association of "light green = mint" immediately makes me turn away from the "green mist". That sounds like tingling where I don't want unless using a mint-based soap.

You’re okay with mint-based soap (soap with actual mint) and not mint-colored TP (no mint at all)? Priorities, amirite?

interesting, but this is flushing color dye/pigment down the toilet
