Dull mewling.

It's not a matter of "fear", it's frankly a massive waste of time if you're seeking an honest & fruitful political discussion. Much like Reddit, Lemmy is one big-ass liberal echo chamber with only a handful of "acceptable" viewpoints, opinions. Anyone else is shouted down, slandered, and of course downvoted to hell. They stuff words in your mouth that you never said, assign beliefs to you that you don't hold. Arguing with these types is like playing chess with a pigeon; it'll knock over pieces, shit on the board, and strut all around as though it's the winner.
