It might be more "dad joke adjacent", but one of my favorite Trek templates is the one with Data and Lore.
"My father deactivated my emotion chip, because he believed that the algorithm was flawed due to its inability to recognize what he called 'top tier humor'..."
Word. His outlook gives him the access and power to point to anyone on the crew and call them a teams.
