Microblogging still on the map? (kbin.social)

Hi,

I noticed microblogging was mentioned in the FAQ. Is it still planned at some point? (I am hesitating to create a Mastodon account for this, but I would much prefer to centralize everything under my kbin account if possible).

My understanding is that Hariette is waiting for the official API to be released before making new big changes as this will change a big chunk of the app. If the API has Microblogging then it will likely be part of Artemis

That would be perfect, I guess it’s worth to wait for the official API release and see if microblogging is part of it :).

New API has them so that’ll be coming in a week or two :)

To be honest, creating a Mastodon/Firefish account is quite fast and low commitment. You can always don't use it afterwards

Yes that’s my plan, but if it’s coming soon in Artemis, I rather wait instead of migrating all my stuff in a week.
