I'm a bit out the loop for this project, can someone explain me why they are beginning with the remake of the second Silent Hill? And if there's already a remake of the first where I can find it?

Bloober has never made a good game before and I expect this to be the same

Here’s Bloober’s blunt response: “Konami is the publisher of the game and communication is definitely part of their job.”

I don’t think people should be bullying the developers over this shit, but also what a shitty response to the people simply being excited for your game and wanting you to share more of your work and progress with them.

It’s either extremely tone-deaf in today’s super interconnected era, or they are hiding something they’d rather people not see.

I’m going to have to go with the latter, because usually if you’re proud of your work/product, you are eager to show it off to people.

I work in software development and it's not like this at all. Developers can't just share what they've been working on without permission. Everything revealed to the public goes through marketing, which would be Konami's purview. Developers who leak in-progress assets would likely be reprimanded.

Appreciate the perspective, I didn't realize that.

Feeling a bit foolish but at least I learned something.

Blame the NDA. Yes most devs would definitely love talking more about their work. They just very often don't have that leeway, especially in AAA.
