The American people only have the illusion of agency in their so-called democracy. No one can win the presidential election unless the ruling class allows them to be in a position to. An independent that could win in that system would just be a choice between 3 evils instead of 2.

Voting third party isn't exactly as easy as it sounds in this country either it's not like everyone could just write in someone's name and they'd win
