I know they have to do it because what other choice do they have but that’s a terrible amount of money for someone who will not take them anywhere.

Pretty much sums up my thoughts, too. It’s truly insane how much players are making today; but I need to remind myself that they get paid this much because that’s is what these organizations value them at. And owners are just cleaning up, money wise right now with the explosion in team valuations over the past 7 years.
