Interesting. A few years back I looked up people's thoughts on chess being included in the olympics, and pretty much the universal response that it "wasn't a sport" and "it's boring and slow," but now I'm learning there used to be art competitions. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Art_competitions_at_the_Summer_Olympics
