At my last contract ratification someone said if we wanted to make more $$ vote trump and the entire place started cheering like crazy.

It won't go away. The worse things get, the more they'll blame liberals and LGBTQs and immigrants. Nazi Germany got the living shit bombed out of them for 2 or 3 years and it just made them cling to their nonsense all the harder.
