Piracy is good and you should do more of it. Use https://aniwave.to/ and https://4anime.gg/ for streaming, and https://nyaa.si/ for torrents. Piracy is the only means of digital protest that audiences have to fight poor worker treatment.

I was a bit upset at first, because I thought the "not on list" one was the bad one.

Refreshing to know some of my favorite artists are good. Maybe less refreshing when they're outnumbered ten to one.

I'm so angry, this is everyone I used to read til shitty follow-on serieses happened with sole exception of I don't see Toyotaro's name on this list. Thank god Toriyama died before this could come to pass, I don't know how utterly wrathful I'd be if I saw his name crop up here too but it'd be pretty damned close to Old Testament at that point.

I think there's a certain bunker mentality among artists - be they Hollywood writer/directors or Tokyo manga authors and illustrators - that compel them to show a certain degree of solidarity regardless of how awful the people they're defending are. And that's in no small part because the production companies and corporate suits have them under siege, doing insane amounts of work for mediocre pay, in an industry where being a pervert is considered a fringe benefit.

You see it with politicians, too. "They're all out to get us" combined with "If I don't get to be a freak, why would I even keep doing this thankless job?" Leads to some perverse social incentives.
