A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

In Italian: Bo•low•nya
In Intensely Human: ba-log-na
That's how I pronounce it, just to be weird. I also say ja-lap-oh-no and kay-so-dilla.
If you know Spanish: gn is, mostly, pronounced as ñ
I don't think Americans really say bah•low•nee when refering to the city
