I think about pros and cons and what to choose for the second (modern) language in addition to C.

So, you are telling Rust is named after the pathogenic fungus (cause disease) and the logo is a crab, just like the logo of Cancer?

That fits well with the language and its community. Well done!

What is so wrong with people being excited about a language they like? I have always found the Rust community extremely welcoming and caring.
