Do you frequently have full debates with yourself so that you have a hundred percent control over the replies, and therefore always win? Is that productive in your mind?

I have actually *lost* a debate with myself before.

It was quite embarrassing.

I'm also not entirely sure how that was even possible.

Ha! I suppose that means you were being honest without yourself and considering new information as you worked your way through it. That’s the heart of the scientific method, and the core principle behind Rubber Duck Debugging.
