important context: the OP being dunked on here is commenting in a post whining about a 16 year old posting their political journey.
ill give you a TLDR: person used to be on r/chapotraphouse, moved with the sub to chapo.chat when it got banned. complains that it had a lot of drama*. complains about bloodthirsty hexbears coming out because of ukraine russia war. claims people were cheering on civilian deaths and were posting gore footage. complained about the sites in-jokes. supposedly got in fights about it. says it wasn't a really big deal because they confined themselves to the news mega (why bring it up then?). says the site continued to die down until active users were 150-200**, most of whom were supposedly mean and nasty***. says that they didnt see that everyone was abusive because of personal trauma. supposedly went to therapy which healed their ills and let them see the evil of hexbear. is now embarrassed they use hexbear, and claims that they were taken advantage of by hexbear users****. expressed disgust that people claiming to be in their 30s and 40s are manipulating "young aduls and even kids". claims that only people with a "seriously damaged worldview" could be a part of hexbear at that age.
*one of the biggest ones was the transphobe drama. curious they dont mention it as a drama that turned out well
**blatant lie. i started using hexbear in 2023 before the mass reddit exodus, and i was also using grad at the same time and grad had over 200 monthly users and grad was and still is fucking tiny compared to hexbear
***ive seen this towards liberals and bigots. i think this probably says a lot about the type of user they were tbh
