I think there can be horny scenes in a game, but mainly if it's for humor or for some story reason. Some games really feel like porn and it's bad when you just want to play a game and that shit pops up. I recently said that when I played the weird pseudo-Gacha Metal Slug game (you can't use real money), they made all the characters, except the main ones, with really horny designs that have nothing to do with the Metal Slug art style.
I'm not anti-sex or anti-sexuality in bideo bames if it feels thematically relevant or at least doesn't detract/distract from the rest of the game. Silent Hill having sexual body horror enemies and themes is a running recurring theme, but the chud demand to have a sick and dying character look Hollywood hot while sick and dying in bed is fucking clownish.
Know how chuds whine about "gayness being rammed down their throats?" It's rich because they demand cishet bland horniness with dubious underaged characteristics to forced upon everyone else.
The original sprite characters were cute and attractive in their own way, yes that goes for the male ones too. Regarding the gacha trash weeb/otaku pandering additions: what the fuck, game devs? Does everything have to be a Konami style thirst bait delivery system?
The pixel art is pretty good and it does look mostly ok (a lot of reused and edited art), but the art that appears when theres dialogue it's fucking weird. (Fio, Iri and that two other girls, Nadia and Leona look normal) They also sexualized the two girls that give you items (I remember that she had a pretty funny role in Metal Slug 3D)
Good gravy. The pandering is so universal and lacking in thematic consistency that it's just le monster girl fetish fuel there.
May as well have a slime girl with weapons stored inside her slime body too, just to hit all the fetish checkboxes.
What is worse is that they had less horny designs that they changed to hornier ones. Madoka (Support Npc that gives you items in the original games) before and after. Besides these having nothing to do with the Metal Slug art style, I think theres one that is legit a basically naked catgirl.
Madoka went from "attractive woman I'd ask out on a date if I was single" to "more doe-eyed le sexualized but le innocent waifu slop for the weeb slop hogs" in that art direction pass.
