A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. The best ones are thoughts that many people can relate to and they find something funny or interesting in regular stuff.

The content is nice. The performance, not so much.
Yeah it’s got some growing pains. Anything worth it’s salt will have growing pains.
Even Reddit did back in the day. Ya know back when Aaron Schwartz was running the show.
I had a reddit account from early on and lemmy feels similar. Its gonna be great watching it evolve
Oh, yeah. It's inconvenient, but hopefully it will get better.
It will. The only way to fix problems is to release your application so you can see the problems. That’s how software works.
I get better performance from the colorful pills at the gas station
Yeah, I'm hoping the overall speed of the site improves rapidly. I can't seem to upvote comments and my first comment appeared to get stuck posting until I refreshed the page and it did in fact post.
Can we say we "made it" when megacorps start making their own instances and communities?
I think we'll have "made it" when You Tubers devote videos to reading Lemmy posts.
I don't think they'll use the actual Lemmy software. They'll probably make their own thing using the ActivityPub protocol.
And we'll start seeing "to view the whole post, register at Jojo Corp and get 25% of your first purchase!"
Based 😁❤️
Oh, crap. I just thought of something. What if they try bribing instance owners to stay federated with them?
Try lemm.ee instance and Liftoff (wefwef.app) apps. Awesome speed.
