if you've been following us for a while you know we're passionate about #Rust! 🦀

We've already discussed how you can install Rust, and we talked about basic concepts like variables and types.

Today, let's talk about sequence types.

👇👇👇

Sequence types are types that store an ordered list of some other type.

Today we'll talk about the two main sequence types @rust:

1️⃣ Arrays
2️⃣ Vectors

Funny how silly a mastodon thread looks from lemmy. We don’t have super short character limits here (10-50k), so the whole thread in a single post would be natural here, and then for me to see the rest of the post I have to click to the original fosstodon page and scroll down.

I appreciate posting to lemmy. But I’ve always the character limits on mastodon dumb and it’s quite annoying when they create so much friction, especially when a good part of the fediverse “spirit” is to get back some of the blogosphere energy.

Sadly I can't see the other comments in my lemmy client

Edit: They seem to not be visible on either lemmy.one or lemmy.ml

Yea ... you have to go the original mastodon instance where the posts originated.

It might actually be a bug that the thread didn't end up here as comments, or at least something went wrong.

If that's the case, that's a good bug in my book.
