I almost preferred being a McLaren fan when they weren’t winning races. Too much disappointment when they have the potential to win titles.

I've been rooting for them all season just because I wanted a break from last year's Verstappen dominance, but you can't look at the performance of the team this year and say they properly deserve to win the title.

Every team makes mistakes. They definitely deserve the Constructors’ title.

But yeah, as a team I don’t think they’ve done enough to earn the Drivers’ title.

Today's McLaren are like Ferrari of old, the amount of mistakes they make is way too high. The bar is Red Bull right now and they make maybe one or two mistakes per season, not per session.
