Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

I have zero knowledge of ... Smurf lore...
But could it just be the case that 'female' smurfs are sort of like self inseminating plants?
The last 'matriarch' passed away, or fled, and Smurfette is the only one capable of birthing another generation, but the 'male' smurfs could all just be ken dolls, sexually inert but societally useful as workers.
Then Papa Smurf is just the eldest remaining 'male' smurf.
The socio gender dynamics just happen to roughly emulate human society, but the underlying sexual structure of the species is dramatically different.
The males would then be interested in Smurfette mostly for the status of being beloved by basically the one they must all protect to continue their species, they would be as capable of sex as a Ken doll.
It would explain why they collectively really really want her to stay ... which is still manipulative and controlling, but at least does not necessiate literal sex slavery. Just... non coital brood mare slavery.
Thats ... at least a theory that afaik may not contradict with any lore (which i admittedly know nothing of) that allows for a sustainable smurf population that does not involve sexual abuse?
