"What they want most is love and acceptance, not pride parades." - Do you speak for all Chinese people? Pride parades are a part of queer culture. Gay Pride is the international vanguard of the LGBTQ+ community. It is true that the gay pride movement has become bourgeois, but what we need is an international proletarian gay pride movement, not to have separate gay pride movement for every nation that is restricted to being an appendage to their respective nations (this would divide the international queer community).
