wait a second, were these the same "pro palestinian" "protesters" calling the incumbent democratic president "genocide joe" and telling people they weren't going to vote for him, while marching in every american city and taking over college commons across the country during the spring and summer of an election year, chanting "from the river to the sea"? democratic youth vote was the lowest on record this last election, while the republican youth vote was the highest, more arab and latino americans voted for donald trump in the last election than have ever voted for any republican candidate before in us history.

Important side note is that the entire pro Palestine, genocide joe movement was clearly a psyop started by Kremlin goons, and people ate it up. Moscow wanted their boy back, and did all they could to get liberals on the pro Palestine movement by planting seeds onto gullible peoples minds to not vote based on this issue without pointing out the fact that Trump was far worse for Palestine. People need to realize that Moscow (and others, but mostly Moscow) intentionally mislead people online. You can't just assume the hot takes you see online are even from a real person. Most of the crazy shit online is coming from people who are spending 8 hours a day trying to mislead you. It's just so sad to see the Internet weaponized in this way. When we were kids, we were so excited about being able to play games and communicate with people around the world. We thought this would bring us together, and instead, Putin and co have weaponized it. There's no way to get away from modern yellow journalism in the comment section without destroying free speech. It's fucked.
There are idiots in the Palestine movement who didn't vote, but there are plenty of people who voted for Harris too, myself included. It doesn't take a psyop to see that a genocide that's being live streamed is a genocide.
Sure, but allowing this shit stain to become president clearly wasn't the solution, and the entire idea of abstaining from this election FoR PaLesTiNe originated completely online in troll farms. Anyone can see what's going on in Palestine is genocide. It also has been for a really long time, and the US had the same position for like 50 years. The fact that it came up 6 months before an election and was in our face nearly nonstop and practically disappeared overnight is telling.
Agreed on everything except your last sentence. I argued with people all of last year saying what you're saying. There were pretty quickly protests and rallies, off the top of my head I remember going to rallies in November 2023, January 2024, and June 2024, and people are still talking about it. I went to an event last weekend too.
I do see idiots both in real life and online who are clearly more interested in fighting the Democrats than actually helping the cause though; right after the election I went to a rally at which someone said she'll work with anyone who wants to fight the Democrats, no mention of the impending dictatorship, and got applause, and it really put me off of my local activist scene.
Real people are dying. That's not a psyop.

You're kidding yourself if you believe there is nowhere else in the world that Israel could get weapons. There are solutions to stop the genocide, but they're in Israeli politics and international pressure.
Why would Israel get weapons from elsewhere if they are free from the USA?
Yeah, and Trump wasn't the solution. Palestinians are going to be significantly worse off now with Trump in power. Again, the psyop was getting American Democrats to abstain from voting to help Trump. It worked.
