Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Damn, those are long hours. How many free days do you have in a week?
Damn your schedule and mine are almost same.
Why does it take 2 whole hours to eat and get in bed?
It takes way more than an hour if you are actually cooking your own food. Cook, eat, cleanup. 1.5 hours minimum, often more.
Meal prep is a thing, getting take out saves a lot of time especially if you are looking for wiggle room in your schedule to go out and be social.
Seems like there are a lot of simple obvious solutions to the issue here.
I'm married and 41, I'm just pointing out the real time needed. If you are actually trying to be healthy, and not just shoveling extra sugar and saturated/trans fats down your throat, then often the best choice is to cook your own food. Restaurants almost all prioritize taste, cost, and efficiency over health. Our society makes it difficult to stay healthy. So doing things while also staying, healthy is time consuming.
Edit: Also getting takeout still takes time, order, wait, pickup, eat, cleanup, you're still down at least an hour unless you get fast food.
Bros complaining about having no time. I'm just suggesting ways to claw a little back
I'm not saying this doesn't suck, but
"commute", if public transport, is 2 hours to be on dating apps (or to say hi to people if you're so bold), "bathe" is 1 hour, "get in bed" is probably 30 mins. So 3:30h daily in your specific example to possibly be on dating apps.
But apart from that... I live alone, and daily chores are 0-5min. Making and eating food is 20min. 1h Bathing you don't need every day, 10min shower is fine. How can you take 1h to go to bed, takes 5 mins for me. That would theoretically free 3:20h for relationships, which is fine each day.
Euagh
I mean that's what this post is about right? There are ways to connect with people, however it's "euagh" to do them. Completely understandable.
I can only speak for the bedtime, but for some of us, it sucks. My partner can fall alseep within a few minutes. For me it can take anywhere from 10 minutes to a couple of hours, even if I'm absolutely exhausted. So one hour doesn't sound wild.
I'm not disagreeing there. I would have ranked that under the "sleeping" point, I thought "going to bed" was other rituals people do, undressing, removing makeup, brushing teeth, reading part of a good book, etc.
