Summary

The American Accountability Foundation, funded by the right-wing think tank behind Project 2025, has created blacklists targeting federal workers it deems "woke" and untrustworthy.

These lists, which include many people of color in government roles tied to diversity initiatives, aim to pressure the Trump administration to fire them.

Critics, including federal unions, call the effort an intimidation tactic.

While Trump distanced himself from Project 2025, his administration has hired key figures from it.

When it comes to Project 2025 coverage BEFORE the election, I'm not sure I've ever seen a bigger case of blatant gaslighting in my life.

They fucking published their plans. But all during the election, the Lying Liars Party and donvict himself just acted like it wasn't a thing. That's expected - the Republicans and outlets like Faux/ONAN are just going to lie. That's who they are.

But the fucking "liberal media" kept doing this "some people think", "some people say" and blah blah type of thing. Almost making out like it was some conspiracy theory or that, sigh, "it's just those Democrats, being hysterical again, eyeroll". They did absolutely zero to explain to the American people who and what the Republicans are, and what these demons planned on doing to America. If anything, they did a lot to muddy the waters. The fourth estate is a total joke in this country.

Corporate media tycoons would benefit from oligarchy; they are the oligarchs. So long as they bend the knee.

I don’t think this is going to turn out the way these media tycoons thought it would. People are already fleeing from corporate media. And now the White House is supplanting them at press conferences with media outlets they have a stake in instead.
