I worked in planning, I won’t say for who as I can’t other than to new employers based on the package I got.

It’s a field very close to being replaced by AI, if it gets to a point where it understands employees propensity to work different patterns and times then it will just replace people.

Hence I’m looking to now change careers before that happens, but starting again after more than 15 years is harder than I thought and I thought it would be hard.

Hang in there. I know it's just stupid words on a screen, but I'm juuuust on the other side of a painful, painful fucking stretch. I thought it'd never end. I'm scared to even say it, but I think my new boss MIGHT actually care about her employees and view them as people? knock on wood

Thanks, it’s good to hear from the other side, I hope it is as you say and it keeps working out for you.

I’m luck to have good people with me and some savings behind me so it’s just a case of keeping my head up and keeping on.
