Unending growth of our rates of production and consumption and of our Gross National Product is the central theme of our economy and it is regarded as disastrous when actual rates of growth fall below the planned rates.

It's probably not even a socialist making this claim.

Overcoming capitalism is ultimately required for extending the human life on this planet.
