History always seems to forget Poland's absolutely head-down commitment to espionage. I feel pretty confident in appreciating how they still feel, today.

while what the Polish code breakers did was a great feat in and of its self, to really dumb it down, it was basically brute forcing the encryption while knowing some parts of a message in advance and rebuilding the workings of the conductive disks.

sadly, the methods they used were easily defeated by adding an extra disk
