Uh... The man was almost 90 when he died, and in the first place if so why don't you go in a plane and stand between them?

Since when do the pope's responsibilities include getting martyred in warzones? And for no meaningful purpose since I doubt he had it in him to do any aid distribution work.
Why would he have to die? Perhaps the next one will be more like Jesus and less like a child molester.
