btw, are there any graphic designers here with experience with SVGs? If we want to make this feature even better, we need custom calendar icons!

Yes once things calm down a bit Iโd love to request Lemmy to support web push.
Elk, a web client for Mastodon, can send push notifications because mastodon supports Web Push ๐
