Hello,

I'm very new here (Reddit refugee, as it's probably the case for many of us), and I seem to have been able to create an account at lemmy.world properly. Confirmed my email and all. But I can't login to the website on my phone (Android) using my regular browser (Duckduck Go) or Chrome or anything else. I input my credentials manually, press login, the page loads but it's the same login screen again, and I'm not really logged in. And, sometimes, when I close and reopen the page (after clearing cache and all) I seem to be logged in, but it's someone else's name that appears as "my account". 😱 The attached poc is showing that, showing me logged as "kwot", when I'm not that person.

I could log into Jerboa using the same credentials that fail to log me in on mobile browsers, so I'm posting this, but... Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I've tried using my username and my email as login, used different browsers, and everything fails. And Jerboa gives me a lot of "network errors" too, so it's not too dependable, haha.

Anyways... If I'm doing something wrong, please enlighten me. And, if not, that's OK. I know there's a lot of activity now and things may be wonky for a while.

Keep up the good work, and thanks!

It seems they are all acting out, huh... I guess we'll just have to be patient. :)

Yep, I’m chalking it up to growing pains and hoping it clears up. I’m using wefwef currently and it’s at least a bit more reliable so far
