Yes. ๐ for my favourite people. ๐ for people I've interacted with once or twice and would like to interact with more. โญ for people that I haven't interacted with but always enjoy their posts and comments. โ for similar reasons to the star but I like their politics.
I've also given one person a red flag ๐ฅ but haven't seen them again. There's a couple more I could probably give red flags to but also I would prefer to see more friendly symbols in my feed than danger warnings.
And seeing as you asked so nicely, I haven't tagged you yet but I think I'll give you a ๐.
That's a good idea to use emoji. I tag with a short few words describing the thing they commented that gave me a chuckle or frown.
One thing I'm starting to find though is that the yellow emojis are maybe looking a little too much like Reddit style awards at first glance, or at least making me think of them. Might look for purple alternatives or something else that looks a bit more toned down along with a dark theme.
I like your idea. Seems like a good way to be reminded of something random and get a laugh while you're scrolling.
Yeah I could see that I suppose, be great to keep it as far from Reddit as possible. It's worked okay so far for me, nice to personalise users a bit, Zero22xx "emoji tagger" ๐
