Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

What policy are the national Democrats intended to be doing with their swanky majorities of -8 in the House of Representatives and -5 in the Senate?
This is part of what the opposition is supposed to do. They criticise, make fun of, offer legislative resistance to, and draw attention to the bad policies of the government.
Did you not watch middle aged Korean politicians scaling fences and grabbing stormtroopers’ guns in the streets?
Why do you demand so little of your elected officials?
They can stop 6-8 of their own members from voting in favor of fascism.
They can make tangible changes in reality instead of lip service.
They can form a coalition and physically restrict access to the senate floor so nothing else can pass.
They can do a lot better if they weren't complicit cowards
What are some examples of non-lip-service changes to national policy that the Democratic Party could be making right now?

Why are you strawmanning his argument? The point is about all the things other than "changes to national policy" the Democrats can do, including obstructing negative changes to it.

That's been the excuse since 2005, when Bill Frist dangled "Nuclear Option" over the judiciary committee and Democrats fell over one another confirming Bush judges as a result.
Thankfully, the liberals aren't living to regret any of that.
I'm not sure exactly what, but it should be something closer to what many brave Americans did in San Diego and Minneapolis recently. Giving out free tacos is better than nothing I guess, but it's not the level of effort their responsibilities require in the moment.
