all good points.

i think the tech is not being governed by the technically inclined and/or the technically inclined are not involved in business enough but either way there's a huge lack of governance over tools that are growing to be sources of search requests. you're right. it feels like marketing won. really a long time ago but still, furthering whatever that means with latest technical progression leads to just awful shit. see: microtransactions
