I'm Australian, and burger with the lot where I come from involves the following Bun Bacon Egg Lettuce Tomato Pineapple Beetroot Meat Onion Sauce maybe. That's the minimum you expect anyway

My favorite burger growing up was the "Hawaiian" burger at a restaurant called Islands, it was AMAZING! Fresh grilled pineapple, Swiss, and teriyaki sauce that gets messy in the tastiest way imaginable. They published the recipe online, it's super easy to make at home.

We do something similar at the bar I work at for our Hawaiian burger. Grilled pineapple and Canadian bacon, Swiss, and some BBQ sauce. Easy to make and tastes great!
