Wondering if this is common with ADHD. maybe not only physical media but just things in general. I for one am not a fan that everything is digital and nonexistent so make it a point to own media I care about on physical copies.

I would say it's mostly because of ADHD that I prefer digital. I don't lose it, it doesn't turn into clutter, I can take it with me without having to remember (e.g. on the steam deck or switch)...

There's the downside of publishers sometimes removing access to the content, but that's more of a downside of bad actors rather than digital explicitly - people who bought The Crew as a physical copy still lost access because ubisoft sucks, not because it was digital.

Ah see, the problem for me with digital is I do lose it. I cannot standardize a naming or file format, so I end up with so much clutter. Id much rather organize my records by artist a to z and be able to physically see it. Maybe im just old
