That's like asking if you can change the ribbon on a typewriter, it's 2023, upgrade.
Feel free to buy me a new car.
It's more like asking if you can touch type, do you need to? Probably not but it's a hell of a lot better to be able to do it.
I purchased a relatively recent Subaru because it has a six-speed manual transmission.
it's a sidegrade in many cases, sometimes even a straight downgrade
