Have you tried Printables? Thingiverse's interface is just horrible and I only go there as the last option.
printables is ok but i always find 1/20 of the amount of models of thingiverse and some things are straight up missing
I originally uploaded on Printables and enjoy their platform but they banned me (probably for using vpn and/or Linux) I made a previous post here talking about it and how I was moving to Thangs. Now I'm on Thingiverse now.
I'm 100% sure they didn't ban you for using Linux and VPN.
Source: I use Linux every day and VPN quite often. Also it's a Czech company and this is just not something I can see a Czech private company doing.
Though that is good news, that only makes it more confusing as to why I'm unable to access my account on printables. I'll try making another account then. Thanks for the info.
Have you tried asking their customer service? They have a good customer service and in sure theyll clear things up.
Also you can find joseph prusa on the 3dprinting subreddit and you can tag him directly, he replies quite often.
Theres also the official facebook group and you can message them directly. “Prusa research 3d printers”
I made another account on printables and uploaded my cube tomato mold. I'm going to see how long it lasts for now.
Printables is also free of ads... Does Thingiverse still have ads?
Personally I stopped using printables after they allowed proprietary designs.
