NSFW subs still available on Reddit is Fun? (lemmy.world)

I heard that 5th of July that Reddit was blocking all access to NSFW if you aren't logged in, they're still open on RiF which is still functioning while logged out. Any clue what is going on or is Reddit just run by idiots?

Open Reddit is Fun Golden and logout.. I don't get why but it's kinda working for viewing..
